Why are we not surprised? Looking past the media circus and shifting attention to the real issues of governance.
Months ago, I foresaw the looming crisis within the DNC, and finally it’s unfolding as I somewhat predicted back in 2023. I am no prophet, simply a critical thinker.
With the conclusion of the Republican National Convention, the media has swiftly shifted focus to its next spectacle. As expected, Biden’s lack of mental acuity comes as a total “surprise” to Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest of the DNC. They put on a show about asking him to give up his candidacy and perhaps the remaining months of his presidency. His history of a double aneurysm with a brain bleed decades ago made his cognitive decline apparent by 2019 to those paying attention to alternative media. The widely publicized June debate with Trump further exposed his condition, making it impossible to conceal from the general public.
As the nation is mesmerized by the media's wizardry, Democrats scramble to identify a successor while pundits speculate on who will inherit the Biden-Harris campaign coffers. This frenzy provides ample fodder for media analysis and discussion of the various scenarios, permutations, and outcomes.
Arguably, the true power brokers anticipated Biden’s predictable defeat and the inevitable loss of the executive branch in 2025 months ago. If an ordinary person such as myself could foresee this a year ago, it’s reasonable to assume that those pulling the strings have devised a strategy to mitigate and possibly restrain a potential Trump presidency.
While he has yet to officially be elected the 47th President of the United States, Trump is the de facto leader of this nation. Regardless of whether people have voted for him in the past or will in the future, his leadership is undeniable. With the shot that went around the world, Trump won. However, the next battle lies in controlling Congress and the Senate, with Democrats and RINOs poised to handcuff his presidency.
If I were gaming out this scenario, I would position a popular candidate who could lend credibility to unexpected Democratic wins down-ballot. The Republican control of both houses is tenuous, and that is where the real game is being played.
In the 2024 general elections, 34 Senate seats are up for re-election. If you're wondering why Trump has endorsed a number of unsatisfactory incumbent Republicans, it’s because the Senate is split 50-50, with future VP Vance as the tie-breaker. At a minimum, he needs to maintain, or ideally, add to those numbers.
All 435 seats in the House of Representatives are up for re-election every two years. We are so distracted as a population with the media circus that few are developing strategies to curtail inevitable voter fraud or support grassroots candidates. In Florida, the window to elect MAGA conservatives will close on August 20th when the primaries come to an end.
In supporting my candidate, I have the opportunity to door-knock and get a pulse of the electorate. It is disconcerting that the vast majority of super-voters are 75+ (some in their 90s) and many are clueless about the Republican candidates on the primary ballot. Moreover, only one out of 100 were millennials. Granted, this is Florida, so I pray it is different in other parts of the country. As a naturalized US citizen who has seen the country of my childhood decline and demise in unfathomable ways, I urge Americans to practice civic duties and participate in the affairs of our governance before it is too late and we become Venezuela on steroids.
The stakes have never been higher. This is not just an election; it is a battle for the soul of our nation. While the media distracts with its endless spectacle, we must stay vigilant and proactive. Each door knocked, each conversation had, each vote cast can make the difference between a future of freedom or a descent into tyranny. Now is the time to rise, to act, and to reclaim the promise of America.
“The government you elect is the government you deserve.”
Thomas Jefferson
Heavenly Father,
As we approach the 2024 primary elections, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Lord, grant us clarity amidst the media distractions and strength to stand firm in our convictions.
We pray for our leaders, both present and future. In particular, we pray for Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance and their families. May all candidates be endowed with wisdom, integrity, and a heart for true service. Protect them from corruption and deceit, and empower them to lead with courage and righteousness.
Father, we lift up the voters across this nation. Stir in them a sense of civic duty and the urgency to participate in the governance of our land. Open their eyes to the truth, and inspire them to make informed decisions that align with Your will. Let every vote cast be a step towards a brighter, more just future for America.
We especially pray for the grassroots efforts. Strengthen their resolve, and bless their efforts with success. May their work bear fruit and ignite a revival of civic engagement across generations.
In Jesus’ holy name, we pray.
Amen.
