Decoding Tallahassee's Narrative
You are invited to see through the Establishment's political maneuvers
Rumor has it that Governor Ron DeSantis will call a special session to address the impending catastrophe of open borders and its impact on Florida, including the potential for non-citizens to vote. How ironic. I believe this will be a politically motivated move, as many legislators are up for re-election. Let me elaborate.
During the 2023 session, I personally spent no less than seven hours on Zoom calls, urging for amendments to the infamous "Run, Ron, Run" bill, aka HB7050. We asked that proof of citizenship be required: a US birth certificate, passport, certificate of naturalization, or certificate of birth abroad to register to vote. A driver's license or a social security card does not suffice, otherwise, how do foreign students drive around or work while enrolled in college?
Sadly, our request was denied by Speaker Renner and 7050 was hastily ushered in so that Governor Ron DeSantis could pursue his political ambitions to become the next US President. During the 2024 legislative session, his leadership was absent as he was campaigning for the Republican nomination around the country.
Meanwhile, Defend Florida led the charge with other grassroots organizations to present the language and secure the drafting of four bills that would have addressed the egregious loopholes that exist in Florida’s electoral processes and procedures including this one:
Nonetheless, despite three visits to Tallahassee, the participation of numerous grassroots advocates, meetings with legislators, a press conference, letters to the Governor, etc., SB1602 and our other election bills died in committee. The appetite for this subject matter was non-existent. At a February committee hearing, a colleague asked the legislators (Move up to the 50-minute mark):
“Do you not care that noncitizens are on the voter rolls and voting in Florida?” .

Secretary of State Cord Byrd has openly acknowledged that non-citizens are on the voter rolls. With the open border crisis, this issue is poised to become a game changer for the entire country. As a member of the Executive branch, why has this burgeoning issue been ignored? Why are permissions granted for these flights to land and deplane? Why isn't the National Guard staged at airports to protect the state?
Only after an article on the Gateway Pundit exposed this blatant oversight and dereliction of duty did it capture the attention of Senator Blaise Ingoglia, who tweeted there might be a need for a special session in Tallahassee. Ingoglia, up for re-election, claims to be an election security champion, yet the bill he sponsored went nowhere and was unfeasible from the onset. Actions speak louder than words, and during this past legislative session, we witnessed none of substance. Why is this now an issue when we tried so hard to get his attention months ago?
I will submit that many of the legislators are facing re-election season but they have done nothing to address this problem despite proper information, advocacy, and actual bills generated by grassroots efforts. To campaign, they need political cover for voters to believe they actually did something about it, claiming they have their finger on the pulse. Meanwhile, for three years they have ignored the hemorrhage, and now we are bleeding out.
Another prime example is Tom Leek, a representative from Volusia County who is now running for State Senate. Opposition PACs brand him a liberal who supported illegal immigrants. Again, the established political base needs to provide cover for their dereliction of duty. More and more people are aware of the nascent issues surrounding the open border and its consequences but few will research and understand exactly where these legislators have stood during their tenures. If a special session is convened, it will provide excellent optics for the unaware voter base.
Leek has been a state representative for eight years and is the powerful chair of the Appropriations Committee.
Meanwhile, DCF is sending this letter (in Spanish) to those registering for state sponsored healthcare benefits. If the recipient indicates they would like to vote, then they are asked to complete the registration form. It is not a far stretch of the imagination to presume that registrants might feel they need to complete this as a step to qualify for their healthcare benefits.
As a naturalized American citizen, it took me approximately 10 years to obtain my citizenship. The process was long, but it provided the opportunity to value the status, appreciate the country, and become part of the fabric of society that makes this a great nation. As such, I would venture to say that no legal immigrant wishes their vote to be diluted by someone who is simply granted the right to vote.
Regardless of your feelings about this subject matter, if it is not addressed with urgency, America is about to be irreparably torn asunder by those who would use this massive influx of immigrants to further their own political agendas, pursuit for power, and aspirations to restructure the face of this nation.

Renner needs to go! It’s the uniparty.
Lookup nonprofit NALEO. They help illegals get citizenship and register them to vote. They pay and do their N-400 right here in Florida.
