Praying Mantis you are an inspiration to so many people knowing that tough times are not avoidable, but they can be overcome with courage, faith and perseverance -- all great qualities of so many Mothers who are recognized on this Mother's Day!
I haven’t lost a spouse or child but have been through some very deep troughs. The question I’ve heard from God all through my adulthood has always been “can you trust me? Can you trust me even in this?” And sometimes I yell back at him , “evidently not enough because you keep throwing things at me testing me!” When all you can do is trust, you learn that you can trust Him absolutely. But those lessons are great in hindsight but going through them is hell. But worth it.

Thank you!! I haven’t been to those countries. I am a widow too, and still learning, and God has provided and shown himself faithful.
