On the stand for Jeff Clark
Navigating the fragile links of supply chains, cybersecurity, and political shortcomings.
Given my past experience as a global supply chain manager in hospital device manufacturing, the importance of ensuring the availability of all components, from raw materials to finished products, during production was abundantly clear. Certain fundamental concepts are ingrained based on past experiences. However, listening to Jeffrey Clark’s disciplinary trial highlighted that some legal professionals may lack familiarity with this concept, prompting me to ponder: do most people truly grasp the essence of the supply chain? With the recent collapses of strategic bridges such as the one in Baltimore, we may all soon gain a firsthand understanding of a supply chain gone amiss with interruptions, delays, or shortages in the flow of crucial raw materials, products, or finished goods.
A supply chain refers to the interconnected network of individuals, organizations, resources, activities, and technologies involved in the creation and delivery of goods to end consumers. It encompasses all stages of production, from the sourcing of raw materials and components to manufacturing, distribution, retailing, and ultimately, consumption. Effective supply chain management involves coordinating and integrating these various elements to ensure smooth operations, minimize disruptions, and maximize overall value creation.
Expert witness Sean Smith reaffirms my belief in the notion of American exceptionalism. With extensive experience in cybersecurity for national defense projects, his credibility is unquestionable. His composed and articulate presentation of the threats facing our election infrastructure brings a sense of clarity and albeit, his testimony is forbearing. As Sean explains, the fabrication of integrated circuits relies on digital blueprints etched onto components invisible to the naked eye.
The Department of Defense has observed instances where adversaries gained unfettered access to digital designs, materials used in critical components, or the components themselves. It's widely acknowledged that entities like the CCP have the capability to infiltrate overseas factories producing components for various industries, posing a significant threat to our national defense projects in infrastructure such as satellites, rockets, and avionics.
In the case of election system computers, these utilize standard hardware with integrated circuits sourced from factories worldwide. Compromising the supply chain for any of these components would be highly detrimental, yet there's no foolproof method to ascertain if such compromises have occurred. Current testing methods are inadequate, and only through forensic examination, which would destroy and render the machines unusable, could potential threats be identified. Sean Smith's expertise underscores the grim reality that these computers and the voting systems they support remain alarmingly vulnerable.
The realization that such critical infrastructure—responsible for determining the presidency which in turn impact border policies, military engagements, and fuel prices, among other vital decisions—is inadequately protected is disheartening. For advocates who have tirelessly worked to safeguard the integrity of our elections, the fact that these systems are certified to standards dating back to 2005, when not even the iPad had been invented, is deeply troubling. How could we ever have believed our elections were safe and secure?
Regarding the 2024 legislative session in Florida, the outcome was a draw: the necessary laws weren't even brought up for discussion, let alone passed, but we did succeed in defeating the harassment language. Overall, this session was lackluster at best, and it's likely to be remembered as one of the worst years for liberty in Florida, as noted in the scorecard issued by the Republican Liberty Caucus.
“The results are in, and they are NOT pretty! Both chambers earned a FAILING grade. The House scored a 50 and the Senate a 32, out of a possible 100 points. In a word … PATHETIC!”

Here is a great summary of what should have happened in this past session:
Many conservatives believe they will fulfill their civic duty by voting in November, but with the hoards of undocumented immigrants being granted voting rights, the writing is on the wall: merely voting is not enough. Despite our efforts to advocate for vital measures such as citizen verification, hand-counting, vote by mail security, and update certification standards, our state's politicians failed to act.
It's clear that we must look towards the primaries to elect America First representatives who grasp the broader issues, prioritize the interests of citizens, and remain unswayed by special interests or corporate influence. Absent of that, we will have no other choice but the current cadre of establishment politicians, focused on keeping the status quo whilst the nation and our local communities deteriorate before our own eyes.
What else might you do:
Get out the vote for everyone you know, remind them to update their registry.
Identify good candidates and volunteer to them get elected. Running for office is a brutal endeavor and good people are discouraged by the difficulty of the campaign. America First candidates truly need our support in the form of time, talent, or treasure.
Personally speaking, that is exactly what I’m doing right now … I may just chronicle these experiences and title my next book “Running with Scissors”.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

PS: In case you missed out, Jeff Clark was Assistant Attorney General from 2018-2021 and one of the most eminent lawyers in the country. Read about him here in Paul Ingrassia’s substack:
Father in Heaven,
We express gratitude for the men of integrity who find themselves facing the injustices of a two-tiered justice system. Our prayers are with Jeff Clark, his legal team, and all those presenting their testimonies. May the truth they convey be eternally recorded, ensuring that history accurately reflects the state of our nation.
Lord, we beseech You to grant favor to Jeff and others enduring persecution for their principles. Strengthen them with resilience, good health, and inner peace during these unimaginably trying times. Thwart the schemes of the adversary and envelop them in Your heavenly protection.
As we approach upcoming elections, we acknowledge our shortcomings in safeguarding our voting processes. We implore Your supernatural protection over electoral procedures and the integrity of our republic. We place our trust in Your divine intervention for the present and future of our nation.
In Jesus name,
Amen
Full disclosure: Jeff is a personal friend in the fight - we mutually commiserate on the state of affairs. He’s my favorite hedgehog, I may be his favorite fox.
