For those of us who have chosen to opt out of the mainstream media, it becomes effortless to distinguish amidst the cacophony of distractions, lies, diversions, and falsehoods. Speaking for myself, the last time I tuned into a corporate channel was on September 11th, 2012. By that time, I had already found their coverage to be sophomoric and ridiculous, particularly when the news of the day revolved around the pardon of a turkey.
As I listened to the initial coverage of Benghazi, presented as raw footage, it was astonishing how, within a few hours, they twisted this attack into a response to Western social media mockery. It was a personal insult to think that I couldn't see through the lies, so I made the firm decision to turn off the TV for good. My close friends now inform me if a hurricane is approaching because I prefer to remain blissfully ignorant.
However, I do consume a significant amount of information, especially in these times when discerning the truth about our current situation is paramount. It is challenging to determine who is a reliable source, whom to trust, and who truly offers a genuine perspective, as many voices attempt to fill the void left behind by the failed corporate news. So, who and what can we trust?
This is why I encourage all of us to unite behind the voices that strive to share real stories and transform the nation's consciousness. One individual whom I hold in high regard is Jim Caviezel, renowned for his portrayal of Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ." On July 4th, "The Sound of Freedom" will premiere in theaters, featuring Caviezel in the lead role playing Tim Ballard. Both men have displayed singular heroism in their own right. Jim, for accepting roles that may have made him an outcast in Hollywood but a hero for truth, and Tim Ballard, the man he portrays in this film, for his relentless fight against child trafficking and the horrors of that industry.
Let us all support the actors, producers, investors, and, above all, the characters depicted in this movie. I promise that watching it will make us more informed citizens. Yes, it is appropriate for 12 and over. Look for it in a local theater as it fittingly premieres on July 4th.

Heavenly Father,
We pray for all who are light in this time of darkness, daring to speak truth and expose the work of the evil one. We pray for their families, please protect spouses, children, pets, and loved ones.
We especially pray for the Ballard and Caveziel families and for those who supported the creation, production, execution, and marketing of this film. Bring them immeasurable satisfaction and a sense of deep accomplishment in following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the urging of their conscience.
We pray for the children, the innocent, the victims, may they find your comfort and peace in their times of need and despair.
In the name of the Jesus, our Savior, who shed his blood for our eternal salvation.
Amen
Yes, you are so right about who we hold in high regard. It speaks volumes when mainstream news attempts to tell us what to believe and who to respect. They are certainly not my choices either.
Thank you for highlighting this very important movie! May we the People get LOUD about this critical issue!⚡️⚡️🙏
