Too Big to Rig
Remember, remember, the 5th of November. The power of momentum. Securing America's Future from Ground-up. A prayer for America.
Today marks the end of an era. What we have collectively participated in the past four years will not repeat in our lifetime. A billionaire businessman at the top of his game, a TV star from one of the top-tier reality shows of its time, and a politician who singlehandedly transformed the Republican Party: one man conquering the realms of business, media, and politics.
In his seventies, Trump could comfortably enjoy his sunset years but instead has pursued the transformation of this country with relentless energy. In my view, he’s rescuing America from the brink of losing its identity. His tireless pursuit of an ideal will be documented, and history will likely remember this period as "American Revolution 2.0."
No one else has the star power and reach of Donald J. Trump. His presence alone can fill stadiums, with crowds spilling into surrounding areas, all equally enthralled. After a decade of relentless attacks, impeachments, convictions, persecution and being shot, history will judge him as the People’s President. His name alone on the ticket will carry many others along his political coattails.
I bring you this post today—before the victory—because I have full confidence that our prayers and aspirations for a brighter future will ultimately propel us to triumph. This is more than a political battle; it is a struggle against forces unseen, powers and principalities often dismissed as cartoonish but all too real. Those who gaslight us into doubting the existence of Satan keep us from exercising our rightful authority over this planet we’re meant to steward. After responding to our call in the natural world, we now turn to God’s divine providence over this land.
Personally, I am at peace because I’ve given it my all. Since November 8, 2020, I reluctantly became a political advocate, stood proudly at January 6th, returned, and dedicated manic hours to the quest for election security. In the process, I practically earned a degree in political science: writing legislation, meeting with House Representatives, countless trips to Tallahassee, organizing press conferences, executing accountability mechanisms, and even managing Florida’s most expensive state campaign. While the results aren’t what I envisioned, as my core issue—ensuring only U.S. citizens can vote—isn’t yet reality, I derive peace from the process, not just the outcome.
While this peace is deeply personal, I wish the same to you my fellow soujourner. Here is some data from political polls and Polymarket (which I think represents the real sentiment of the electorate):
Moreover, until recently, Florida was a swing state. Now we show Republicans leading by over 1 million votes in 2024. Historic. Unprecedented.
Despite these numbers, there are those saying that the race is close. Fear not. Trump will be victorious and it will be a landslide. The voter turnout will be one of a kind, driven by The Donald, his name alone elicits hope (which is voting) or hate, presumably accounts for the demoralization of the DNC voters.
Let us acknowledge this electoral victory isn’t the end, the road to the White House is likely to be bumpy, a path that may involve severe twists and turns. For this transition to occur without drama, we must be on our knees. I acknowledge that the powers that be are not going to easily relinquish their control and we may be in for a season of turmoil.
However, let us visualize the exciting brighter future. If Trump were Tony Stark, just look at his team: RFK, Elon, Vivek, Tulsi, and JD Vance. The mega-wattage of this cast is blinding and thrilling—a lineup fighting for Team Humanity. Picture an executive branch committed to securing our borders, steering us clear of endless wars, guaranteeing fair trade for America, and trimming the federal bloat. On the national stage, we, the ordinary people, may feel like spectators. But here’s the reality: we have a critical role.
For decades, many of us have been complacent. Once the excitement dies down, we will be tempted to retreat to “normal” life with holidays, sports, routines and responsibilities vying for our attention. Yet if we don’t build on this momentum, our hopes for a renewed future will quickly fade. Trump’s presence ignited an unprecedented turnout, but this will be short-lived unless we seize the moment. Our window to cement these gains comes in 2026. We can be sure the opposition will regroup, pushing hard to retake Congress and the Senate. Meanwhile, corporate giants have discovered how effective it is to shape state and local politics, as seen with Soros' $100 million invested in Florida’s Amendment 4 and Trulieve and company pouring $150 million into Amendment 3.
A side note, I’ve firsthand experienced how deep-pocketed influence works in campaigns. The race I managed was swamped in the August primaries by big insurance and trial lawyers, who threw in $22 million to defeat my candidate—for a role with a $29,000 stipend. I learned a lot from touring the sausage factory.
What does this mean for us? After savoring this victory, it is the time to push for sound legislation, nurture voter relationships, and set our sights on a strong turnout in 2026. We must identify candidates and equip them well in advance. A year from today, we’ll need vetted citizens primed to work their jurisdictions and participate in the political process.
For context, the RNC charts the course for national races—Congress and the Senate—while the State GOP manages our local representatives. But at the county level, we see decisions that impact our daily lives most directly: who serves as sheriff, what our school boards approve, and what the city and county commissioners allow. The local level may lack glamour, but it wields the most power over educating our children, livelihoods, and safety. Our activism at this level, especially in counties that can tip the scales, is essential to securing our nation’s future.
Democracy is not just a counting up of votes; it is a counting up of actions. Without those on the bottom acting, the people at the top will continue in the same way.
Howard Zinn, author of A People's History of the United States
Father in Heaven,
After four years of political misery, we give thanks for the victory that lies before us, confident that Your hand is guiding the affairs of man. We are grateful for the clarity this time afforded us to recognize the deep disrepair of our political system, the treachery of the media, and the perilous influence of both military and medical establishments. We give thanks because Your call has gone forth, and greatness has answered.
We look to a brighter future with hope and excitement, praying that this transition will be peaceful and swift. We are especially grateful for President Trump’s relentless pursuit of what he believes is best for this country. We thank You for his health, stamina, and courage, and ask that You continue to preserve him and all those who work alongside him. May they be protected by heavenly forces, with wise counsel whispered in their ears as they move forward in the affairs of government.
In Jesus Christ, we pray.
Amen
