Trump: A man of destiny

Does the world deserve this warrior? A moment of reckoning for the Christian community.

The full impact of what happened last night has not yet sunk in. I am grateful that it was only a nick in the ear; he may have some short-term hearing loss or tinnitus, but hopefully, there won't be any lasting physical effects from this assassination attempt.

There will be an inquiry, the Secret Service will be examined, and the lax security measures will be questioned, especially given the testimony of many bystanders who saw the assassin climb up to the rooftop in plain sight. A family will mourn the loss of a loved one, and we will consider it fortunate that it was only one innocent bystander. While those who have supported President Trump from the beginning are relieved and grateful, we still haven't fully processed the "what if."

What if Thomas Matthew Crookes of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, had succeeded in permanently injuring or fatally wounding President Trump? What would happen next? Many times, I have compared the United States to the Titanic about to hit the iceberg—perhaps it already has. But that analogy falls short because there is no other captain capable of advancing the United States through this anti-globalist, anti-neocon, America First, Make America Great Again movement like Donald J. Trump. No one else could command this ship, he is unique and irreplaceable.

Trump is an indomitable force; there is no one else like him. A billionaire who could have easily retired into the sunset of his life, yet withstood a presidency riddled with intense opposition, a contested election, the FBI raiding his home, costly relentless legal battles from day one, and now, an assassination attempt. There is no one with a vast fortune, years of experience, personal charisma, and the spirit of a warrior who could step into his shoes. In fact, as the Secret Service whisked him away, Trump still had the foresight to stand on stage, pump his fist, and yell, "Fight! Fight!"—who else has that presence of mind?

If anyone doubts that Trump is divinely ordained for a time such as this, the fact that he is still alive should make everyone pause and reconsider. Had it not been for a small movement of his head, perhaps a tiny gust of wind, or an unknown flicker, that bullet would have found its mark and Trump could be dead or permanently maimed. Experts consider the range and distance (150 yards  to have been an easy mark for any competent shooter. And yet, at 78 years of age, Trump remains standing and is stronger than ever.

America does not deserve Donald J. Trump, who has dedicated a decade or more of his life, his fortune, and his vast array of talents for our country. The apathy, ignorance, and lack of involvement I see on the campaign trail is disheartening and many times, depressing. If not for my children, because I am the Lord’s obedient daughter, and drawing inspiration from Trump’s tireless dedication, I might have given up and walked away. I often wonder what drives Trump in his quest for America.

He has single-handedly created a MAGA movement that is unparalleled in world history. Trump is a man of destiny, and his role in saving and preserving our country and the ideals for which this great experiment stands for will be studied for decades. Clearly, he is guided by Divine Providence and protected by the armor of God. It is no hyperbole to consider him the George Washington of our era and we should all contemplate the privilege of being alive to witness this great lion marching forward and leading with courage, resilience, and conviction.

The United States is at the cusp of a revolution—one that will be fought with ballots, and if not, with bullets. Last night proved we are at that crossroads. In another era, our forefathers left their wives and young children, took up arms, and went to battle. Hungry, cold, and miserable, many lost their lives and fortunes for an ideal that we have inherited. Do we deserve their sacrifice?

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.

President Trump will prevail in the general election, likely now with a significant boost in support. But he will be a lame duck if we do not win the House and Senate. Everyone who cares about the future of this country must get involved, must vote, and must support America First candidates who are battling the establishment and competing in the upcoming primaries.

For now, all we need to do is get out the vote and prevail. Unlike the first American Revolution, everyone can be a part of this fight, regardless of their physical condition. Do what you can to register one more voter, make one more phone call, knock on one more door. This is a Gideon moment—the Lord has plans for this country, as was amply demonstrated last night, but we all need to march, stomp, and blow the horn. Let the moment of our judgment find us to be deserving.

But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.

Father in Heaven,

We give thanks for Your continued protection over President Trump. Infuse him with extraordinary courage, unwavering health, and unparalleled favor as he works to implement his vision to save America and make her once again, a shining path for the rest of the world.

Lord, equip all those who are still on the fence with a renewed conviction to participate in the affairs of government. Open eyes and ears of those who remain unconcerned, ignorant, or deceived by the agendas and manipulations of the spirit of apathy and complacency. Use this assassination attempt to bring about not only a political realization but a spiritual conversion of those who remain left behind.

Unravel the plots against the president and bring to justice those who have been derelict in their duty or actively attempting to thwart Your agenda for this country. Release Your mighty angels to do battle in the spirit and confound the plans of man and those who serve the evil agenda of the enemy.
