Thank you for this post. I too come from a healthcare background, in Pharma. I can honestly say that in those early days of my employment, in the 90s when I learned as a member of Regulatory Operations that companies PAID an agency to review and approve their submission dossiers, I was stunned. I was even more stunned to learn that if Pharma bestowed a bigger bag of money on the FDA, the review would be fast-tracked. I’m not a rocket scientist, but I smelled conflict of interest early on.
The letter from the military members and veterans is remarkable. May they bring justice where it is due.
FDA has gotten so bad, at the top levels that is is not longer a viable agency. It's terrible because there was much good that came from it in the beginning. Thanks Tess!
